THE POOJA RITUALS
Pooja rituals are the heart of Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Start the Puja by chanting 108 names of Lord Ganesh. Light the Diya or lamp and offer Aarti to the Lord by singing hymns especially dedicated to Lord Ganesha Offer Naivaidya of special recipes and fruits to the deity.
The Offerings
The offerings made to Ganesha are a symbol of devotion and respect. They often include flowers, fruits, sweets, and incense. Coconut too can be offered to Lord Ganesha.
The Visarjan
The visarjan is the final ritual of Ganesh Chaturthi. It marks the end of the festival and the return of Lord Ganesha to his heavenly abode. As Ganesh Chaturthi is on September 19, 2023, Ganesh Visarjan will be observed on the 10th day on September 28, 2023
